The stunning actress took to her Twitter account to write, “My sweet daddy came over today with a truck of fresh produce from his farm – we are drinking fresh lemonade while making homemade marinara, grilled zucchini salad with the most beautiful tomatoes and spaghetti squash! I feel so lucky. THIS is real life.”
Talk about a very lucky girl, right? Of course, many of her fans and followers sure did have a lot to say about Kate living her best life in her comments section.
Some wrote, “Isn’t it great spending time with your parents? I appreciate that time so much.”
“Fresh produce is the best. My mom has been growing stuff in her garden. She made that thing to try and scare the squirrels away lol.”
Another fan wrote, “Enjoy every moment of your time with him. I can tell by the way you speak about him that you love and value your time with him. I lost my dad when I was 13. He was, and still is, my hero. I miss him every day!”
And then there was this comment as well: “Enjoy! My dad has a green thumb also with various veggies. right now, so many beefsteak tomatoes. Would love the recipe for the zucchini salad.”
“Yum! You are so lucky to still have a parent. Nothing better than simple farm fresh food.”
If that weren’t enough, when Kate’s television mother, Nancy Lee Grahn, replied with “Oh dear,” Kate simply responded with, “Ya better step it up Ma.”
