Maybe she could have put in a little more effort or maybe she just decided not to.
Kamala Harris’s step daughter Ella Emhoff is being heavily criticized for the way that she was dressed to see her step mother during one of the most important moments of her career at the Democratic National Convention.
That’s because all Emma had was a t-shirt and a trucker hat that said Harris and Walz. And for a lot of critics, they think she could have tried just a little bit harder, especially knowing just how important this was for her step mother.
In fact, Ella was the only person who was dressed this casually when everyone else in her family, including her own brother, put in more effort into what they were wearing for the occasion.
It goes without saying that many critics sure did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “I have so many thoughts. But I’m gonna keep them to myself because she isn’t the one running for office. But I’m not sure they should be calling people weird.”
“There is a time and a place to dress nicely and this was it. Regardless of who you are.”
Another critic wrote, “The ONLY reason why Doug was ‘displaying her’ (and did you notice they kept looking up on the screen to make sure) is to play the game of ‘Look, protestors… see she is one of you!’”
And then there was this comment as well: “What Company, other than some democratically connected firm will ever Hire her? Nobody in the private sector will deal with that baggage & potential mental Illness, to much risk. Can you imagine the risk of taking a business trip with her?”
“Meanwhile the Trump children and grandchildren are class acts and stunning.”
So far neither Ella nor Kamala Harris have made any comments about the criticism but at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.

Give it a break no wonder the kids are so messed up now. Let the kid be a kid. Trumps kids are all put on display, used to make Trump look good but, Trump screws everything up anyway. You can see she is relaxed not all tense like the Trump kids. Having a step-mom like Harris she will go a long way. SHE HAS THIS!!!
What difference does it make what she wears as long as she is comfortable!! I didn't know there was a dress code, there isn't one to vote!!! Before you take it any further I AM NOT A DEMOCRAT OR A REPUBLICAN...For God sakes can't yall people quit stirring the pot and starting crap. Why not report real news that means something!! She's a young person and she showed up for the people she love and who love her. That's all that matters. So leave her alone, mind your business. Kamala knows her heart so she doesn't need to explain it to anyone!
