The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nate & Audra Fake an Engagement To Fool Summer?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has it out for slinky minx Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Audra is working at Glissade with Summer’s ex Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

A custody battle for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) is brewing between Skyle and last week Summer told her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that she demanded that Kyle quit his job or get rid of Audra.

In a breathtaking development, Red was the voice of reason in the room. And that is significant because it makes it look like Summer is on a collision course with reality. Here’s what to know.

In the August 16 episode Phyllis suggested that Summer might be miffed that Kyle is moving on. Summer acted offended at the thought but fans think she protested a bit too much.

Summer maintains that Audra somehow poses a threat to Harrison but in fact the corporate raider has never even met the boy.

Which makes it seem that Summer’s ultimatum to Kyle about ditching Audra is personal.

Y&R spoilers: Audra’s Brazen Solution?

Audra and Kyle are stuck working together at Glissade, per Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) demand. It would help Audra if it appears that she’s moved on with someone else and this is where Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) could come in handy.

Nate and Audra have been bumping boots, and he is interested in more. If Audra plays her cards right, she could pretend to have a relationship with Nate, thus putting Summer’s fears to bed. So to speak.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Will Nate Propose to Audra?

A fake engagement would play into Nate’s hands, giving him the opportunity to woo Audra and be with her often. Of course, a fauxmance could turn into real love down the road.

In turn this would test Audra’s resolve since she is dead set against marriage, something we saw play out with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
