There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests all of the videos and pictures of huge crowd sizes at Kamala’s campaign rallies across the country might be nothing more than smoke and mirrors.

That’s because before she was even announced as the Democratic party’s new nominee for the presidential race, Kamala has barely making any waves, both at The White House and in the media. 

In fact, there were a lot of people hoping for either Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom to take over the reigns after Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

But instead, Biden almost immediately endorsed Kamala and before anyone even knew it, she was the de-facto nominee.

That said, it seems like Kamala’s popularity has burst from nowhere. There were critics from both sides of the aisle that were heavily criticizing her lack of effort in her role as the Vice President and even poked fun at her word salads that sounded like nothing more than non-sequiturs.

A lot of people believe that the mainstream media is hyping up Kamala so much that the public is really believing in her ability to run the country even though she hasn’t really done much to prove herself these last four years.

And it seems to be working. Kamala is currently leading in the polls against her opponent Donald Trump so much so that the former president is supposedly having a meltdown over it. He’s doing everything he can to beat Kamala at her own game.

Even if Kamala is faking her popularity, it’s working in her favor.

Now, whether or not she will actually win the presidential race in November, remains to be seen. But so far all signs point to a landslide victory for her. 

So far Kamala Harris herself has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
