Kate, who plays Kristina on the hit ABC soap, is getting a lot of criticism online from fans who apparently aren’t too pleased about her character’s sexuality. Unforutnately, there are still a lot of soap stars who have a hard time differentiating the character from their portrayer.

The stunning actress wrote, “I won’t be responding to this issue further. These are unwarranted. I’ll be channeling my energy and gratitude towards positivity and anyone who wants to join me there is welcome.”

She then continued, “Friends. Protect your peace. As my dear MB says – let it wash over you like water on a seal’s back.”

Of course, many of Kate’s fans and followers had a lot to say about the matter on social media. 

Some even commented with, “Miss Mansi, you are the reason I have tuned back into GH. Your performance as Kristina is nothing short of Emmy worthy. You have brought a depth into the role your predecessors lacked. Your scenes when you found out you lost your baby were heartbreaking. Keep up the good work.”

Another critic wrote, “You are playing Kristina very believably. IMHO you are a perfect fit for the character and play off the vets great!”

“Look, recasts are always tough I get it. But any way to god is good ya know? We all bring our own unique things based on our own unique fabric.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Continue to do you. You were one half of the lesbian couple SL and I can only speak for myself when I say that both of you were portraying something that touched people and represented what a queer relationship was like. That is a positive thing.”
