It looks like Sharon Newman is going to have quite the mental breakdown and is going to blow up at the wrong time. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to the latest episodes of Y&R, both Mariah and Faith wanted to give Sharon a bit of a break by encouraging her to take some time off and enjoy a spa weekend. 

Unfortunately, Sharon says that she’s got too much work to do and can’t leave Genoa City. Both Mariah and Faith gently confront their mom by trying to find out why she is avoiding her trip to Sedona. After all, it was her idea to begin with.

Camrym Grimes, who plays Sharons’ daughter Mariah on the hit CBS soap, says that this sudden behavior comes as a shock. The actress told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “I think there’s kind of a careful tightrope that Mariah is trying to walk of helping her mother but not trying to parent or baby her.”

However, The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that Sharon becomes quite upset when her daughters start questioning her. That, and they want to know why they think she’s lost all control of her life.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Sharon Newman?

Camryn explains, “Faith and Mariah are just looking for clarification on some things they’re not understanding; why Sharon isn’t staying true to her word or why she’s flip-flopping or why she’s not getting help. Her snapping at them and rebuking any of their help is very out of character for her.”’

“I think the pieces are kind of falling into place where they weren’t before and they’re realizing that this is a bigger issue than they previously thought.”
