According to the Daily Express, the royal family is looking to do the one thing that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle desperately don’t want them to do, and that’s remove their royal titles.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “The Royal Family are meeting at Balmoral to discuss a number of different things, but one of them will be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

“What people don’t realize is that the Balmoral gathering isn’t just a summer holiday. The family also participates in pre-arranged meetings where they discuss the family’s current position and how they can best prepare for the future.”

“Last year was very much about honoring the Queen as it was the King’s first time hosting the gathering since her death, but this will be about how the family can best move forward without the Sussexes.”

The insider also added, “Not only will Harry and Meghan’s tours and upcoming trip to Canada be on the agenda, but also their titles and peerages will be up for discussion.”

Some people wrote, “All these years later and they still haven’t figured out how to move forward without the Sussexes? These are not serious people.”

Another critic wrote, “That being said, being a Duke and Duchess has no meaning in the U.S. so I’d drop the titles if I were H & M, and in so doing, emphasize how social and economic stratifications like that are outdated and inherently patriarchal and racist.”
