There’s new footage of Barron speaking at the age of 4 – with a Slovenian accent, due to his lack of meaningful interaction with people other than his mother, Melania Trump.

The public has not heard Barron speak, which is prompting a lot of people to wonder if he still has a Slovenian accent or if he speaks with n American accent just like his father, Donald Trump, and the rest of the Trump family.

It’s been noted though that Barron has primarily been raised in the United States.

Of course, it didn’t take long for the internet to do what it does best and weigh in on the matter.

Some comments on social media included, “There’s nothing wrong with having a Slovenian accent.”

“It’s just unusual for someone raised in the US with English as his primary language, particularly when one of his parents (ostensibly involved in his upbringing) speaks with an American accent.”

Another critic wrote, “All immigrant parents will ALWAYS teach their children their native tongue before speaking English.”

“The mentality is that kids will speak English regardless in school but it is best for another language to take place first so they don’t lose it later on.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I think he spent a lot of time with Melania’s parents, who showed him a more normal way of life. I feel sorry for Barron. Don’t blame him for his Father’s sins.”

“Rumor has it that Barron and his mum speak Slovenian all the time, especially when Trump is in the room as he hasn’t bothered to learn the language.”

“If your main language at home isn’t English, I am not surprised about the accent.”

So far the Trumps have made no comments about the matter just yet.
