The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 15 reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are sitting on a ticking time bomb. They are desperate to keep their one-nighter a secret from their significant others, and frantic about their vulnerable son.

Chadam cheated while visiting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) at his treatment facility in Baltimore. He is back home now after learning some techniques to handle his OCD. But the family is not out of the woods yet.

In Thursday’s Y&R episode the family of three enjoy time together in Chancellor Park. But a parent’s job is never done and Adam and Chelsea can’t stop worrying that their son will have a setback.

His therapist identified Chadam as triggers for Connor. Now that he’s back in Genoa City, it falls on the parentified teen to reassure his parents that he is ok. What could go wrong?

Y&R spoilers: Billy Doesn’t Like What He Sees

Eventually Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sees the trio in the park and doesn’t like what he sees. Why are Adam and Chelsea acting so friendly with each other?

It won’t be long before Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) notices Billy’s discomfort about the exes, and she, too, gets suspicious.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Sharon on Edge

Meanwhile, there is another troubling family situation playing out. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) need to find out why their mom Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) cancelled her therapeutic getaway to Sedona.

Her family knows that Sharon is struggling to adjust to a new medication regime and her worrying behavior is setting off alarm bells. When Faith and Mariah question her decision to stay home, Sharon lashes out.

Unfortunately, the girls have no idea that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is playing tricks with Sharon’s mind and that she is worse off than anyone imagines.

Elsewhere, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not on board with Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) plan. He has a grand scheme for Chancellor Industries but he needs his wife to go along with it.

Maybe Nikki is feeling more empowered after her stint in rehab, but whatever the reason, she is not going to let Victor steamroll her. And Victor is not ok with this insubordination—ya got that?
