This really shouldn’t surprise anyone. Meghan Markle has been accused of being disrespectful to Queen Elizabeth in a new video. But then again, this wasn’t the first time. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In one of her first royal engagements with just Queen Elizabeth back in 2018 soon after she married Prince Harry, a video shows Meghan walking in front of Queen Elizabeth.
However, at one point it appears as though the Duchess of Sussex might have even snarled at one of the queen’s aides when she kept reminding her that she was breaking protocol.
The Queen’s aides kept reminding Meghan not to walk ahead of Her Majesty, but she did it anyway.
Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Some critics even commented with, “I cannot imagine breaking protocol so blatantly…. she set herself up for justified criticism.”
“No, Meghan. You don’t go ahead of the Queen, Those flowers were meant for the Queen, you idiot.”
Another critic wrote, “You can clearly see Her Majesty lift her elbow, a diplomatic sign to the equeries to intervene & she ignored them all.”
“That said I’m no royalist but didn’t mind the queen and know they’re all about protocol. This one is all about herself, rude has classless and should NEVER have been allowed through the door.”
And then there was this comment as well: “It isn’t different than acting, one follows the script, moves to where directed, etc. It isn’t hard, except for a true narc!”
“She isn’t RF material. She doesn’t have the breeding and manners for it, and she didn’t/doesn’t want to learn.”
So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the criticism that she’s received, but then again it’s not like she’s going to repeat that same mistake seeing how she and her husband Prince Harry are no longer working royals.
