The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 12 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a new assignment for his black sheep son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor visits Adam and drops the bomb that he has some dirty dealings to get to.
Adam previously told his dad that he will not go against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) or Jabot. Adam does not feel the same way about Billy Abbott however!
Adam doesn’t like Billy and he is also keeping the secret that he slept with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Adam and Chelsea comforted each other while in Baltimore when they should have been worrying about their son. Instead, they did what they do best which is cause messes and cheated on their partners.
Meanwhile, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) are back in Genoa City, Wisconsin and bring Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) up to date on their Hollywood adventure.
Jack and Diane see that these two have taken their friendship to the next level and they could not be happier. Why do we get the feeling that this romance will implode at some point?
Speaking of the Abbott family, during the week of August 12-16, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) discuss their custody agreement, with a little push from Victor.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle and Summer will continue to tangle and it could be over her distaste of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Elsewhere, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) corners Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the GCAC. Phyllis always has an ulterior motive and her friendliness could be a ploy to discover what is going on with Billy at Abbott-Chancellor.
Then again, Phyllis could be angling for a new job given that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) is out of the corporate picture.
Or it could be that mama bear Phyllis wants to mention her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) who were let go by Lily.
Not surprisingly, Phyllis manages to make a mess of things in a short amount of time. After talking at Lily, it is made clear that Daniel has no place in Lily’s new company. Not that he asked.

I do not believe it is Alan with Tracy but rather crazy Martin! All the signs are there. His hair, his not wanting Tracy to leave him so she asked him to come with him to L.A. The writers are not very good at covering! I guess they think we are stupid!
