Well, color us surprised on this one. There’s a new report that suggests Jennifer Aniston might have something to do with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce.
Now, that doesn’t mean she did anything during the course of their marriage. Whatever happened between Affleck and Lopez, clearly happened between them behind closed doors.
However, it’s being suggested that Aniston has always had a huge crush on Affleck and is willing to take her change with the Hollywood star now that his marriage to Lopez is all but dead.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years.”
“He’s always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time. But change is in the air,”noting, “As things pretty openly wind down between J. Lo and Ben, there’s a real opportunity for Jen [Aniston] to make up for lost time with Ben.”
If that weren’t enough, the insider also put it this way, “They’ve never really been single at the same time before, and Jen has been a true-blue fan of Ben’s for decades.”
“They did work together on He’s Just Not That Into You 15 years ago but they were trying to figure out a project together for years before then, and they still keep each other in mind for stuff.”
“There’s a very friendly and flirty open line of communication between them, plus a boatload of mutual friends — everybody from Jon Hamm to Sandra Bullock, who can totally see Ben and Jen becoming a couple down the road.”
So far Jennifer Aniston herself has not made any comments about the matter but whether or not she and Ben Affleck do get together remains to be seen.
Until then, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are yet to file their divorce papers, which some reports say should happen any day now. Watch this space.
