The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that she’s got huge shoes to fill in here, but if there’s anyone who is up for the job, you better believe it’s going to be her.
Of course, we are talking about actress Rebecca Budig, who now plays Taylor Hayes. She says that she wants fans to like this new version of the character, who was last played by outgoing actress Krista Allen.
Speaking to TV Insider in a new interview, the actress admitted that she’s still getting her footing in with her new character.
She said, “I’m my own worst critic, but I’m really excited. I just hope that the fans accept me as Taylor and that it all works out. I love it. I mean, nothing’s guaranteed in this business, so I just kind of take every day as it comes.”
The actress also said that she’s been having a great time settling into the set of the hit CBS soap. Not only that, but The Bold and the Beautiful cast has also made her feel like she’s at home.
Rebecca said, “The cast is small and there’s something really sweet and really magical about the show that I felt when I met everybody and just being there on the set.”
“Jacqui [MacInnes Wood, who plays her daughter, Steffy Forrester] and Tanner [Novlan, John “Finn” Finnegan] are amazing, professional and wonderful. And Katherine Kelly Lang is just so sweet. We met vaguely through Susan Flannery; we’re both friends with her.”
Rebecca also has a connection to actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge Forrester on the show.
“I’ve spent Thanksgiving with Thorsten, so I always have felt an affection and regard for him. He’s super-talented and has that ability with just about anyone to make them feel comfortable and welcome and supportive. I felt that immediately and he was so great.”

I love Rebecca Budig as an actress. And was hoping to see her come back to GH. What is hard about seeing her on B&B as Taylor is, that she looks more like her sister. She doesn't look old enough to be Steffy's mom. This is going to be hard. But I am happy to see her again.
