Kamala Harris is being slammed for getting ‘nasty’ during a recent campaign rally in Detroit, but it’s not exactly what you think. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In Detroit, after protestors for the Palestinian cause disrupted her speech for a second time, Vice-President Kamala Harris said: “You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that, otherwise I’m speaking.”
When the protestors had disrupted her speech moments before that, VP Harris said: “I am here because we believe in Democracy, everyone’s voice matters, but I am speaking now.”
At that moment, the crowd roared with Kamala giving the protesters the kind of side-eye that no one has seen from her before. It was definitely a moment that people will be talking about for a very long time.
It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter, too.
Some even commented with, “I can’t predict where this goes, but she handled this fairly well. Problem is that she is getting whipsawed. She takes the hit for not picking Gov. Shapiro and still gets protested.”
Another critic wrote, “They had the right to protest. She had the right to say what she said. During this rally it was ALL about those supporters who waited for hours and hours in heat to hear her speak on their future. Some needing medical attention. There’s a time and place.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I wish she would go off script more like this. It’s a hell of a lot more authentic than anything else I’ve seen in this campaign (on either side).”
“The majority people in this country are tired of this extremist crap. On BOTH sides!”
So far Kamala Harris herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.

Why would you say that? People in the audience want to HEAR what she has to say. If you're going to protest go outside! This is what makes me mad about protesters they voice their opinion in a political rally while many are there to HEAR THE CANDIDATE! SHOW SOME RESPECT! AND PROTEST THE RIGHT WAY! QUIT ACTING LIKE ANIMALS!
When trump is talking nasty and disrespectful about people no one says anything, I think Vice President Harris has been very patient
