The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 7 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have a heart-to-heart talk.
It’s the sad anniversary of their loss of Baby Ava Spectra. Adam has been busy with his son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and baby mamma Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) but he doesn’t forget the sad loss that he endured with Chelsea.
Meanwhile Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) plays the role of meddling dad when he interferes in the mess that his son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has going on with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
She is going for sole custody of their son Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and taking care of him while Kyle is in Paris. But something brings Kyle back home unannounced.
Jack gets in the middle of a contentious Skyle confrontation and tries to broker peace after Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) spilled the beans about an injury to the boy.
Claire appears to have a part to play in Kyle and Summer’s custody fight and we’re still waiting for the other to shoe to drop as she cosplays normality.
Elsewhere Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has a drastic solution to stop Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) takeover threat. She wants Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to leave their company, just as he’s won the battle to see his name on the letterhead. You win some, you lose some.
We don’t see Billy agreeing to this scenario which sets up major tension with his co-CEO. This latest development is ripe for some classic Billy Boy backstabbing and we predict he will act like a wounded animal rather than a calm adult.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) may have to get involved in the situation unless Billy and Lily see eye to eye. Tell us Y&R fans, how likely do you think it is that Billy tries to force Lily to be the one to walk away from their dream corporation?
