The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Ridge and Brooke are in Monte Carlo and that’s not because Forrester Creations is in need of any publicity.
Instead, it’s because Brooke Logan’s new line, Brooke’s Bedroom, could use all of the success that it can get. At least that’s what actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge Forrester on the hit CBS soap says.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Thorsten opens up about Ridge and Brooke’s trip to Monte Carlo and the real reason why they are there.
He said, “This is not really about the company needing the success, necessarily. The company is doing fine.”
“This is more about Brooke needing a win, and Brooke finding her way in this company, because I think she needs that. And Ridge really wants that for her.”
Thorsten also says that this storyline is about Ridge giving Brooke the support that she needs both personally and on a professional level, too.
He continued, “I think sometimes you feel that your partner may give up too much so you can do what you can do, and it would be nice to see them find something that they find happiness and success in for their own journey, you know?”
Thorsten also said that for the first time in their relationship, Ridge is really giving Brooke what she needs, and that’s all the help that she can get for a personal win. But then again, that’s what any supportive husband would do, right?
But Thorsten did add, “So that it’s not just about them supporting their partner. I’m a fan of Kelly’s and want her to have material that she can shine doing. And this also gives more depth to Ridge and Brooke.”
