General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Is Coming Back But Emme Rylan Isn’t

General Hospital spoilers say that Lulu is coming back, however, the actress who played the character for years, Emme Rylan, has decided not to return to Port Charles.

The last time that Emme was on the show was back in 2020. And while a lot of fans were hoping for her to return, the actress confirmed that she has no plans to return to General Hospital.

She wrote on Instagram, “Yes it is true. GH has decided to recast Lulu. Although I’m very disappointed with their choice, I am glad to finally have closure. (And thank goodness JH brought all of you people into my life! Love you guys!)”

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some comments have even included, “This is so maddening. Emme Rylan IS Lulu. So many of the recasts are nowhere near the original and this is one.”

“The fans, not just me, want her back. She and Laura were a great mother and daughter pair and Lucky is coming back. What an opportunity to reunite the family. Sometimes I think the writers and casting just throw darts on target blindfolded.”

Another critic wrote, “Why? Why? Why will they not bring back Emme Rylan we have the last Lucky coming back, why not the LuLu character.”

“Emme was great in the role. Sometimes I feel like the show owes an explanation to the fans as to why some people are not asked back and why some like Finn are gone. The Finn storyline still gets to me it just did not seem logical.”

And then there was this comment as well, “I am so sick of all these new recast. I thought I would never say this but I am so sick of gh. Their story lines are too long. The story with Sonny has been going on for months. I loved Lulu. Now your replacing her. I can’t stand Molly and Kristina.”

Your show is going down the tubes. I can almost guarantee your ratings have dropped Get your act together or your show will be a thing of the past. Get Carly and Sonny back together and Jason back with Sonny.”
