Some things you just have to let go and put in the past already. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles has finally made this huge step with his son, Prince Harry.
That’s because he is eager to end his longstanding feud with his son amid his cancer battle. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The King of England is eager to reconcile with Prince Harry, simply because he knows that he doesn’t have that much time left on this planet. That’s why he wants to finally turn his wrongs into rights and spend whatever time he has left with his loved ones.
At least, that’s how royal expert Michael Cole puts it. He suggests that the King of England is so eager to put his differences aside with Prince Harry that he’s even willing to offer financial support if he and his wife Meghan Markle need it.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “King Charles has had a tap of the shoulder from fate. He’s got cancer. He, above all, wants reconciliation with his younger son.”
“He would perhaps take a view that if he can help his son, he will. The door has already been opened.”
Cole continued, “He is always open to Prince Harry, even though he said some very unkind, uncharitable and very hurtful things not just about the King, but the Queen.”
And while King Charles is willing to make an effort to reach out to his son, there are several people in the royal family who would rather continue keeping their distance from him.
Cole said, “Queen Camilla, Prince William and the Princess of Wales. There’s a lot of bad blood there, I’m afraid.”
So far Buckingham Palace has made no comments about the matter just yet.
