As many people know by now, Donald Trump was almost assassinated in front of his supporters at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. And while his wife Melania Trump wasn’t there, she was horrified by what she saw when she was watching it live on television.
Speaking to Fox News in a new interview, Donald Trump said, “She can’t really even talk about it. Which is okay, because that means she likes me or she loves me.”
He then continued, “When I went down, she thought the worst had happened because I went down, and I grabbed my [ear] and I saw my hand was loaded up with blood. You see it in slow motion, instant replay.”
Of course, it goes without saying that many of Trump’s fans and followers sure do have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Melania, IMHO, is likely the most gracious classy First Lady the world has ever seen.”
“I do respect Donald Trump for his policies and business tactics, but I also think he could take some lessons from his wife when it comes to being respectful and classy.”
Another critic wrote, “Honestly, Trump is just real. Truly admire him for standing up for Americans and himself. He is selfless. He will have my support this election cycle. Things WERE better during his Presidency.”
“Of course Melania was upset, she loves her husband.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I believe she thought that he was badly injured or killed. No one looking at a relationship between husband and wife can or should judge the strength or depth of that relationship.”
“Every couple is different, and she may have been raised not to show much affection, especially in public.”
