We always knew that these two belonged together. Or at least, on the small screen.
The Young and the Restless star Sharon Case, who is best known for her role as Sharon Newman on the hit CBS soap, admits that if there’s one person who can still get her excited and laugh on the set of the show, it’s her co-star Joshua Morrow.
As many Y&R fans already know, their characters Sharon and Nick Newman have had an off and on relationship in front of the cameras for many long years. Thankfully, the one that they have had off screen has never been that dramatic as the one on screen.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Sharon even put it this way when asked about Joshua, “I love when I can make him laugh. He’s so funny that you think, ‘Oh, it’s probably hard to make someone like that laugh,’ and maybe it is in some regards.”
“It’s not like he’s heavyhearted, because he’s not, but with Josh, you’ve got to be really funny for him to laugh.”
“And so when I make him bust up, I’m like, ‘Wow, hey, I’m funny!’ I take it as a compliment, and you know what? Over the years he has stolen some of my lines and the funny stuff that I make up, and uses them — and every time he forgets that he’s stolen from me!”
And while it might always seem like Sharon and Nick might get back together again in this fictional town of Genoa City, there’s always someone or something that pulls them apart.
You’d think that just because fans have always loved the couple together so much, The Young and the Restless writers team would have given them a happy ending by now.
Well, we can always keep our fingers crossed until that happens. Of course, Y&R fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

I would love to see Nick and Sharon back together now. They really need each other. Seems neither know what they are searching for, but really if they look long and hard they will see it has always been right in front of them.{Each Other} Hope together soon, if not still be watching and maybe 1 day it will happen again. They are my favorite couple.
