JD Vance, who is Donald Trump’s running mate for this year’s presidential election, certainly did make a lot of people raise their eyebrows when he supposedly tried to defend his wife on the Megyn Kelly show.

When asked about the white supremist attacks on his Indian American wife, JD said, “Obviously she’s not a white person…but I love Usha, she’s such a good mom.” 

It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter and a lot of them were not pretty.

Some even commented with, “The white guy sounding like a white guy is less surprising or shocking to me than the brown woman choosing to marry a white guy who says things like this.  I’m sure this isn’t the first time she’s heard something like this come out of his mouth.”

Another critic wrote, “As far as his wife, it’s also wild to me that she was a democrat! Like I know back in the day democrats married to republicans was not that wild an idea but in this day and age it sure is.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They both know they can’t get elected without the votes from the racists. So, he is trying not to offend them. That is really just sad. She is probably thinking the money & power they are gonna get will protect them and their mix children.”

“He changed into a man that he thinks conservatives will vote for. However, his wife can’t do that with her skin.”
