General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Port Charles’ newest upcoming power couple could be Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Jordan didn’t work with Brick (Stephen A. Smith), Zeke Robinson’s (Gavin Houston) too messy and Calvin Bennett (Kendrick Cross) might feel like he’s dating his boss!
No doubt Ric has been a real stinker but maybe by now he’s changed-and Jordan hasn’t always been perfect either; so they would understand each other.
Ric wouldn’t care that Jordan was forced into being used by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in the past, and she’s seemed partial to bad boys.
TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) birth father, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) took Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) place as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enforcer, and Brick still works for the mobster!
Ric’s legal faux pas have been more serious, to be sure, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) might warn Jordan about Ric.
But he’s returning to Port Charles to help his daughter, the current Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) so he’ll likely be on his best behavior!
Everybody has a past, and Jordan would understand that about Ric, especially he proves he’s changed and is no longer the sneaky so and so he once was.
But then again, if Jordan dated Sonny’s former enforcer and current employee and cheat on her ex-husband with her brother in law Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), maybe she’s not that picky!
With Ric having been a powerful attorney, once both District Attorney and Assistant District Attorney of Port Charles, and Jordan the Deputy Mayor, they could be the perfect power couple! She won’t care that he’s the half-brother of Sonny, either, it won’t matter to her any more than when she dated Brick.
Jordan’s a tall woman and she needs a tall man-Ric doesn’t “fall short” in that department-he’s taller than his half-brother Sonny.
The two of them shared a mother, Adela Corinthos (Iris Almario) and that was because she had an affair with Ric’s father Trevor Lansing (Stephen Macht).
But Ric and Jordan have one very important thing in common in spite of their failings-Jordan worked for Cyrus because TJ was being held captive, and he’s coming back for Molly.
Both Ric and Jordan would do anything for their children, even if they’re forced to do wrong to protect them. And that’s something commendable, in spite of the rest.

Besides! Why punish Rick before we even find out what kind of man he's turned out to be!? Maybe he's not the bad guy anymore and doesn't deserve to get that albatros hung around his neck.
Besides, I keep hoping Jordan does something that puts her back in that coma and in a hospital far far far away from PC, forever. And you want to give her a hook to keep her front and center in a new story!? Nope. Unless it's a story where she's gone forever. Then that's ok. And she can take that sleep inducing TJ and Molly with her.
