General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 26 tease curious questions, anger to rage and brainstorming for bestie!
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has curious questions, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) anger turns to rage, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is brainstorming for bestie Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)!
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office at the PCPD, Dante is full of questions. He’s wondering why the PCPD is so interested in Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Anna found herself in a bizarre situation with the new warden at Pentonville, (played by Barre Johnson) who claimed Brennan was never an inmate there.
It’s clear that Anna wants Dante to dig deeper into the prison’s affairs and figure out who is tampering with inmate records. The big question remains – where is Brennan, or more importantly, who is behind all of this, and should she be asking who’s Brennan now?
Is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) channeling her inner Adrian DeWitt (Dieterich Gray) in her Crimson office, questioning someone about being a co-conspirator?
It seems like she’s either taking a cue from Adrian’s playbook or subtly hinting at blackmail! The recipient of her warning will likely heed her words to avoid any negative publicity, especially not in a prestigious magazine such as Crimson! Who might Nina be warning-or shall that be, “leveraging?”
Sonny is fuming with anger at the thought of Carly ending up behind bars-his rage is simmering just below the surface, ready to explode if she is sent to prison.
Carly is devastated, tears streaming down her face in the interrogation room at the PCPD; John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) arrested her in front of a crowd at her hotel.
After she evicted Jagger and cancelled his key is when he made his bold move with Sonny and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) there to witness the whole scene.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Massa) also saw everything unfold. Anna tried to intervene to no avail and Sonny is now by Carly’s side, adamant there is no way Cates will be able to lock up the mother of his child.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) looks glum as he seeks assistance in someone’s office. It’s clear that he has a lot on his plate with the troubling news about his mom and concerns over custody of his little sisters.
With Sonny and Carly potentially facing prison time, Michael’s primary concern is who will take care of his little sisters if the worst-case scenario becomes a reality.
The situation is dire, and Michael is in desperate need of a solution-he can’t leave Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) just swinging in the wind!
Over at Jason’s place, he and Diane are deep in thought, discussing Carly’s arrest. Josslyn and Gio delivered the news to him at the bus station, where Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) also managed to track him down. Jason is determined to find a way to weaken Carly’s case.
Surely, there must be something they can do – after all, Carly was unaware she was being recorded, and there were others present who could have been implicated.
The mystery of why Cates held onto this supposed evidence for so long is baffling!
