The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Accuses Adam, Abby Reacts to Devon’s Proposal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 24 tease that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) have a nice walk in Chancellor Park. Ultimately they sit on a bench and Devon drops the big question.

How will Abby respond to his proposal of marriage? At first Abby is shocked but they have a baby together and no doubt she will like the idea of being an official family. It’s a big step forward but these two are in love!

Still, the Naked Heiress may throw a wrench into the whole shebang so we’ll have to wait and see if Devon asks Victor for his approval to marry his daughter. Do you think they’ll get married at Society?

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nikki’s Concern

Elsewhere Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has concerns over her husband Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) latest corporate takeover plan. He wants her to run Chancellor Industries but Nikki doesn’t like the idea of being a corporate raider.

Victor is adamant however, and sweet talks her—who better to run her good friend Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) behemoth?

Y&R spoilers: Will Nikki Acquiesce?

Victor goes to lengths to assure Nikki that his intentions are honorable. Uh huh. The thing is, Nikki knows Victor better than anyone!

At the same time, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) interrogates Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about his knowledge of the situation.

Adam is shady and his reputation has Victoria thinking that he was aware of Victor’s intention to keep him in the Newman Media CEO seat permanently.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Was Adam In On Victor’s Plan?

Adam assures her that he had no idea what Victor was cooking up, despite it being a plan that is to his benefit. The truth is that Victor kept Adam out of the loop for once.

Victoria still has her doubts. Adam is however guilty of being in on Victor’s plan to use Newman Media to get Jabot. Adam thinks that he won’t have to undermine his friend Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the process, but that doesn’t mean that Victor won’t force him to act unethically!
