Of course, we are talking about First Lady Jill Biden. She is being heavily mocked on social media for the response she had after her husband, Joe Biden, announced that he was pulling out from the presidential election. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
When Joe Biden announced on social media that he would no longer be running for a second term in office, a lot of people couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow over Jill’s response to the announcement.
That’s because instead of saying anything, she just replied with a heart emoji. Nope, we are not making this up at all.
And of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media as well. A lot of people even called her an unbothered queen.
Some even commented with, “I think she was told to clam up and not even take interviews. He did not go willingly, and she didn’t either! But they want to remain in good standing with the powers that be in the Democratic party!”
Another critic wrote, “Everything is so calculated with politicians. I just can’t wait for the leak of how much it cost the DNC to get him to drop out.”
“I guess there are really no words she can offer after the relentless false assurances she has been giving the public over the past several months about her husband’s fitness.”
And then there was this comment as well: “She knew he was not fit for office. But she cared about being First Lady more than she cares about Joe. He is now exiting in the most humiliating fashion since Nixon.”
“Then again, the guy made his announcement on social media. He couldn’t even do it in a live announcement. Talk about the times that we live in.”
So far Jill Biden herself has made no additional comments about the matter.
