The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 19 tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is finding it harder every day to keep secret the fact that she slept with her ex Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while they were supposed to be making their son the priority.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is getting suspicious as Chelsea keeps feeding him a string of lies to cover up her infidelity.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is once again in the middle of his exes, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Phyllis doesn’t have a lot of friends, and there’s a reason for that. Sharon’s new medication regimen has her out of sorts and when Phyllis needles her she goes off. These two have never been buddies, but Phyllis is taken aback at the strong reaction she provokes.

Elsewhere, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) counsels her newfound daughter Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), about her upcoming trip to Paris as Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) nanny. The boy’s dad Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has a business trip there with his Glissade co-CEO Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

He has asked Claire to come along, but some of his reason has to do with sticking it to his ex Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). Summer is not reacting well to the news that her son will be with Claire abroad and has lawyered up.

Despite the hostilities, Victoria tells Claire to loosen up and enjoy herself. What could go wrong?
