This causes Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) to haul Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) into the police station for questioning in Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) death.
However, did Sheila really kill Hollis and Tom Starr (Clint Howard)? Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the next episode of the CBS soap opera.
B&B spoilers for Wednesday, July 17 reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will continue fretting about the deaths at Il Giardino.
After Tom’s death, Steffy called Baker. Steffy was convinced that Sheila was responsible for Tom’s death. Now that Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) is also dead from the same poison, Steffy will be even more insistent that Sheila is guilty.
Now that there are two deaths, it seems this is a serial killer storyline. Of course, a lot of people blame Sheila. It seems too obvious, though. So, I’m thinking Sheila is just a red herring. However, I also don’t think Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park) committed murder either.
After the toxicology reports came in, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) told Steffy that it has to be Sheila. While John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) agrees that it’s suspicious, he’s not ready to call his birth mom a killer yet.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, July 17 reveal that an important clue goes missing. When this clue suddenly disappears, Baker takes Sheila to the police station for official questioning.
Now, Sheila is most likely a red herring. While Sheila has been pressuring Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to just accept the losses, it does seem a tad cold. At the same time, coldness and insensitivity don’t necessarily mean guilt.
On Wednesday, July 17, Deacon will continue scrambling trying to come up with something that makes sense. Reporters have been harassing him about the deaths.
One reporter warned Deacon on the phone that this isn’t good for Il Giardino. As if Deacon couldn’t figure that out on his own. (Insert eyeroll here).
Moving forward, Deacon had a gut feeling about Sheila and Janet Webber aka “Sugar” (Kimberlin Brown). Deacon also had a feeling that Tom needed a second chance.
So, maybe Deacon’s gut instinct about Hollis and Tom’s deaths will lead him to find answers. Fans know that Baker and the LAPD probably won’t crack the case, so let’s see which civilian plays hero this time.
