The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam does feel absolutely guilty about his affair with Chelsea and that’s mostly because he truly does love Sally Spectra. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Mark Grossman, who plays Adam Newman on the hit CBS soap, opened up about the matter.
He said, “I mean, Adam and Sally have been through so much and it took a lot for them to finally get back together again. Adam loves Sally, so for something like this to happen is heartbreaking.”
“Adam knows if Sally finds out about this, it would crush her and she probably wouldn’t want to be with him anymore because the trust is gone.”
“There was already trust issues from the first time when Adam broke up with her for her own good and it took a long time for them to come back from that.”
That said, Mark admits that he’s not sure how Adam and Chelsea’s affair will play out or what will happen the moment that they get caught, which everyone knows they will.
The actor further explained, “Is it going to happen again with Adam and Chelsea because they do have a relationship that nobody else can relate to?”
“They share a child and at the end of the day they’re a family, and Adam would always do what’s absolutely best for his son.”
“So, maybe Adam and Chelsea will start having feelings again. I just don’t know, so I’m really curious to see what will happen next.”
We have a feeling that things are about to get worse before they get better for Adam and Chelsea in this situation that they’ve put themselves in.

I knew Adam/Chelsea were going to get stressed so they must have sex right ewww! Writers STOP making Adam the villain in all things and all ways and stop Nikki from doing that ugly sneer she has for Adam, she’s such a 🐝itch w/a stick up you know where. This whole show is now going through the motions of “acting out the worst possible storylines” it’s so bad it’s funny. Sorry Y&R but you now officially suck.
