General Hospital news says that there are fans who are calling for Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) to be fired.
That’s because of all her rhetoric about the Donald Trump shooting and all of the political statements that she has been making on social media. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
As always, Nancy took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “I am as most of us extremely upset, frustrated, worried & not knowing what to do but wanting to do something.”
“I’m going to walk away, take some deep breaths & visualize a calm, sane, productive next few months where voters show up like never before to secure a Biden victory.”
It didn’t take very long for one of her social media fans to respond. The fan wrote, “Nancy, I’m so disappointed. Whether you are a dem or a rep or ind or other, assassination attempts have no place in the USA. There are plenty of fault to go around on both sides. I may just be a small voice but after reading your posts with no condemnation on what happened.”
That’s when Nancy wrote, “Did I suggest anywhere that I thought that any shooting ever was ok? My stance on trump & his party’s recklessness about guns is quite clear. They contributed & allowed this. I feel nothing 4 trump other than detestation. Have you read Project 2025? You should.”
But another fan also responded with, “I totally agree. Nancy has caused a lot of division whether it was the Covid vaccine on GH, a few of her coworkers got fired & now Donald Trump attempted assassination.”
“Her heart is hard & extremely mean I don’t know why ABC allows her to make such Evil Posts.”
And then there was this comment as well, “As long as GH keeps her on there, won’t be watching. Been watching GH for over 17 years. Enjoy the mob/police story lines. The future DVR recordings were cancelled today!”
“You have an extremely hard heart. You need to take a few months to understand what you’ve become. General Hospital needs to fire you.”
So far Nancy Lee Grahn herself has not made any comments about the matter.

Anyone who does not have empathy for what happened is a big part of the problem! Her comments only confirm her ignorance! Don’t care about your politics either way… her hatred is showing… just because you dont like someone doesn’t give you the right to condone or promote violence and your words do promote violence

Sorry, she's not condoning violence at all. And she posted this on her own Twitter feed .. you don't agree, you don't like her, don't follow her. But she is entitled to her opinion, and it has no bearing on her performance in the soap. It's the elected officials that should be watching what they're spewing.

Wait...I am no fan of NLG and have seen and been outraged over the hateful things she says, and how she treats those who disagree. BUT, what in the heck did she say that was wrong here? She didn't mention him by name, or even the incident at all. Yeah, she's still a Biden supporter. Did you expect that to change because someone tried to kill his opponent? Unless she said a whole lot more, that I didn't see (I'm not on X) then I don't get why people are so angry with her...at least THIS time.
Actors need to keep there political views to themselves, also I've noticed GH has been bringing some things on the show that should be kept off the soap,we want to watch drama not politics.
Nancy needs to stick to acting. No one asked or cares about her political insight. She is narrow minded, hateful and not informative. Do what you do best, play a one dimensional tired character on GH.
