The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 15 reveal that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) doctor has adjusted her bipolar medication and she seems to be having a hard time as a result.
For one thing she’s experiencing sleep difficulties and her emotional state is labile. It’s against this backdrop that the week opens for Sharon in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
haron and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) recently took a trip down memory lane, and that seems to have aggravated her emotional state. We haven’t seen her at work much, but she is running a major corporation and still owns a coffee house. In other words, she has a busy, stressful life and no partner to support her.
On Monday Sharon falls asleep on the couch and has a terrible nightmare. It may have to do with her late daughter Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) and her untimely death. Sharon recently revisited this event and it remains on her mind.
After Sharon reminisced about Cassie she ran into Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) who was tied to her death. It could be that Sharon’s unconscious plays out a scenario from the past involving her daughter and Daniel, with Sharon deciding that she’s not ok with the part he played in the tragedy.
From what we can tell, this nightmare may provide hints about Sharon’s upcoming storyline.
Maybe Sharon feels guilty about Cassie’s death and thinks that punishing Daniel is the way to go. Or, maybe Sharon starts acting out based on her pain.
What we do know is that Sharon told her doctor about her medication issue but it doesn’t look like it will be resolved any time soon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon has a ton of drama coming down the pike this summer. Fans of Sharon are always happy to see their heroine feature in front burner plots, but it looks like her next storyline involves some risky, scary business.

I have wanted Sharon to show what she can bring to the show. She has done that in ever storyline she has played. But this one is not what we were looking for. She has proved she is a very strong person. Get her help fix her meds, and get her back to herself. This is a hard storyline for her to play again. It is heartbreaking for her and her fans. Going it alone makes it harder for her. She needs Nick,Miriah and Faith to help her. She went it alone last time by herself. Bring her back to the person she was. No more sickness, even with Conner,Ashley and Chelsa. Time for Nick to step-up and help her.
