She is not taking any chances, especially when it comes to her loved ones. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Melania Trump is forbidding Barron Trump from attending any public events moving forward.
This all comes as former president Donald Trump was shot during an attempted assassination at one of his rallies in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Melania Trump is not allowing her son Barron Trump to get in any kind of dangerous situation, especially now that his father Donald Trump was almost shot dead in public.
According to eyewitnesses, the former president fell to the ground, seemingly injured, after the first pop of shots rang out.
The shooter was killed by the Secret Service, and a rally attendee was also killed, according to a Secret Service source.
“An incident occurred the evening of July 13 at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe.”
“This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available,” Secret Service chief spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.
For Melania Trump, this is enough for her to make a final decision on whether or not her son Barron Trump will allowed to be at any of her father’s campaign events moving forward.
Clearly, she doesn’t want to take the chance at all, as she knows just how dangerous the situation has become.
She also can’t imagine what would have happened if Barron was standing there next to his father while he was shot.
Melania already knew that Barron should be keeping his distance from the campaign trail as she did not want him to get bullied mercilessly by the mainstream media.
But now she is more concerned about his safety and his life.
As of press time, the Secret Service said in a statement that Trump is “safe.”
So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter, but there’s no doubt that something will be said soon enough.
