Breaking news says that there has been an assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday afternoon. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
There’s new footage making the rounds on social media that shows Trump ducking as bullets graze his ear. The former president was quickly swarmed by Secret Service agents, who dragged him into a vehicle.
If that weren’t enough, he also appeared to raise a fist as he was led off stage. There appeared to be blood on his face.
Screams from the audience rang out as the scene unfolded. It’s also been reported that President Joe Biden, who is in Delaware for the weekend, has been briefed on the situation.
It goes without saying that many of Donald Trump’s fans and critics have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “Trump is a beast! But we have to give a serious shout out to the secret service here! Those guys are without a doubt the most loyal and honorable men on the planet.”
“This is exactly why he will not let Melania come to the Rallies.”
Another critic wrote, “Republicans aren’t the danger to society thar democrats. Biden is losing & his opponent gets shot. Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out who’s behind the gun.”
“You can tell a lot from how someone reacts in an emergency. That man is brave & defiant.”
And then there was this comment as well, “Purple Heart in my book. Trump is on the front lines, and the left just set a new standard. Always an inside job! Did Biden’s people assign the team?”
“We all know that this was a planned assignation attempt on Trump!”
His motorcade has left the venue. His condition was not immediately known. So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter. We will update you with all of the latest details once they come in.
