Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Abigail Be Recast?

Will Abigail come back? If there’s one person who really wants her back in Salem, it’s Chad. Actor Billy Flynn was recently asked about the possibility of Abigail being alive and having to work with a new actress.

After all, the couple always had a lot of on-screen chemistry between them.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the handsome actor said, “You can’t recreate anything. It’s got to be its own thing. It’s got to be different.”

“Sometimes something evolves more than you thought it would as well. There just needs to be a spark, and then, sometimes, it can really grow into something.”

Billy was also asked about his thoughts about this storyline and the possibility of Abigail coming back from the dead, which she did do before back in 2016.

He said, “Well, I’ve been here 10 years now. No, I didn’t [talk to anyone] just because somebody else’s experience [wouldn’t necessarily benefit my own process]. It only works if I can make it work in my head.”

“I’m an instinctual actor, where I need to play what’s in the moment. So if it’s on the page and it’s built out, then you’re going to see these moments.”

“Luckily, during [Abigail’s] death, Marci’s and my relationship is what carried those scenes. There wasn’t a lot of writing in those moments.”

“I think you rely on your relationships, and when you have a big storyline that’s kind of slow and evolving and that moves through, you’re able to latch onto those moments even more.”
