The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) cheated on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for some strange reason that fans are unable to figure out.
At this point, it literally just feels like the writers hate Adam and Sally and will do anything they can to make sure they suffer.
Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) fell into bed together while staying at a hotel together after visiting their son who has been struggling with some mental health problems.
While they were emotional and stressed, they decided to get naked and ruin their relationships because of “drama.”
Adam has lost Sally before, and we can be damn sure he will do anything to make sure he doesn’t lose her again even if it means lying to her face for the rest of their lives. Of course, we know the truth will come out eventually, so it’s only a matter of time before Adam falls on his face again.
Looking for anything to grasp onto, Adam will desperately try to make things work between them. However, while he may try to continue his lie, Adam may have a move tucked in his back pocket.
The ever-graceful last-minute marriage proposal to keep everyone’s mind off his encounter with Chelsea and keep Sally off his trail.
While Sally and Adam have had a back-and-forth relationship, there was no doubt that this time was going well until the writers decided to ruin everything.
Adam’s last-ditch effort to keep Sally by his side could end up costing him everything at the same time. If Adam proposes to Sally right now, he may actually have her say yes, which could be worse.
The proposal could shock Sally and wonder if it’s too soon, while at the same time, she would feel like this is the ultimate sign of his love.
However, we would all know that it’s just Adam trying to cope with his guilt for cheating on her. Starting a marriage on a lie is never a good thing to do, but remember, this show hates Adam and Sally, so this is probably exactly what will happen!

Adam belongs with Chelsea...They understand and accept each other's short comings and will always be there to rescue the other. Adam messes up but for Chelsea he is Conner's father and the best father there is. Adam/Chelsea and Nick/Sharon are the equivalent of Victor and Nikki. They will always find their way back to each other.
