The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 8 reveal that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) gets a fun reunion with her pals Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Cricket and Danny are in Paris for a concert and check in on Traci for a catchup visit. Will they get to meet Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) who has taken a shine to Traci? Definitely maybe!
We’re here for Traci finding love after all of these years, and Alan seems like the perfect, safe man for her to hook up with. At any rate, Danny and Christine regale Traci with stories of life on the road.
It would be a blast to be treated to some flashbacks from the trio’s younger days, so be sure to tune in to see if TPTB raid the video vault.
Christine and Danny also inquire about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Spoiler alert: this Genoa City, Wisconsin fun couple are set to cross over to Y&R’s sister soap The Bold and the Beautiful this summer.
Elsewhere, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gives Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) a primer on the decades long Newman-Abbott feud.
Claire is smitten with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who has been hired to take down his dad’s rival company, Jabot. Claire is also the new nanny for Kyle’s son Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).
Victor hired Kyle to run Glissade with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) but we suspect he won’t be too keen about his granddaughter getting overly friendly with the enemy.
Victor is a wily one, and when he spots Claire and Kyle’s attraction, he will be sure to caution her about fraternizing with an Abbott, especially since he is using Kyle for nefarious purposes.
Elsewhere, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) also have Kyle on the brain.
Their daughter Super Girl Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) complains about Kyle’s choice in women both personally and professionally and shares her plan to re-do their custody agreement.
We see the writing on the wall: Nick will offer a level-headed solution, while Red goes full bore into mama bear mode. What could go wrong? Are you Team Kyle or Team Summer on this dilemma Y&R fans?
