Let’s just say that one person is going to end up on top. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally will most likely have some thoughts about Adam and Chelsea getting together.
But then again, does Chelsea even feel bad about it? Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Actress Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Cheslea on the hit CBS soap, certainly did have some thoughts about the matter in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest.
She said, “I feel so bad for Adam and Sally, because they’re so good together and they went through so much this time last year. And I feel so bad for Chelsea and Billy because he saved her life and then she did this to him.”
“It’s just so layered and, I think, so interesting, and being able to play it with the three of them [Thompson, Mark Grossman, Adam, and Courtney Hope, Sally] has been so much fun.”
However, Melissa did admit that the stakes are certainly higher this time around in their feud as both Chelsea and Sally have not been getting along. That said, Sally has really been there for Connor, too.
Melissa explains, “Chelsea has lines all the time where she’s like, ‘Thank you for everything you’ve done for us,’ and, ‘Thank you for being there for Adam.’ So the guilt is tremendous!”
“I think right away, they know they’ve done something wrong. You see when they’re laying there together, ‘Oh my God, what did we just do?’ They know they made a mistake. And how are they going to come back from that?”
That said, Melissa added that she loves working with Mark Grossman in front of the cameras.
“He’s really such a talented actor and I do love the Chelsea/Adam chemistry and I think it’s really interesting and fun. I’m so excited that we’ve been able to tell this story together — the serious Connor stuff but also this juicy, soapy storyline for the summer. It’s been really fun connecting with him again.”
