According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Brandon Barash, who plays Stefan on the hit Peacock soap, says that Gabi absolutely wants to reveal the truth that Eric is the baby daddy and not EJ.

That’s mostly because she has an ax to grind with EJ. Not only that, but she feels like Nicole needs to know the truth about who the real father is.

The actor also had some wonderful things to say about newcomer Cherie Jiminez, who plays Gabi on the show now.

Brandon puts it this way, “Cherie’s bringing a beautiful element of humanity to this new version of Gabi. We do see this villainous, steaming, power-hungry woman, but we also see this very human side of her as well. Not just when it relates to Stefan, but to other people. I think it’s a very well-rounded character that she has created.”

That said, Days of Our Lives spoilers also say that Stefan is certainly not on board with Gabi’s plans to tell Nicole the truth.

The actor says, “I’m paraphrasing here, but he’s like, ‘You can’t do this. This is not something that we want. Things have finally calmed down.’ Stefan doesn’t want a war [with EJ] right now, because they have finally reached a time of peace.”

“But she’s so hell-bent on revenge. The question is, can she play the long game? Or is she so incensed and so ready to wreck EJ’s world the way he wrecked hers that it’s impossible for her to see the forest through the trees?”
