The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Michael Updates Diane, Nikki’s Noisy Conscience, Victor’s Pawn in Place

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 2 tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) cozies up to his old pal Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters). Michael is privy to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan to wreck Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and is being a good lap dog.

Victor told Michael to schmooze up Diane and Michael is smart enough to know this is a setup. Will he find a way to slyly tell Diane that Victor is on the warpath?

Or will he spill the tea about Kyle Abbott and Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) co-CEO status at Glissade if he is aware of the situation? That would definitely blow Diane’s mind.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor Out to Get Jack

However the news gets out, during the week of July 1-5 it will be learned that Kyle is in cahoots with Victor. On a more personal note, Kyle dines with the new nanny, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Careful Kyle, this is how Ben Affleck got in trouble.

As they have dinner at Society, Kyle throws caution to the wind and complains about Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) instigating custody issues. Claire commiserates, and Kyle feels he has a friend in his camp.

Y&R spoilers: Summer Doesn’t Like Claire

Claire and Kyle continue to grow closer and this will only fuel Summer’s animosity toward her wayward cousin. On top of everything else, Claire fears that Kyle working with Audra will bring out the worst in him.

Just as Kyle fears, Summer may make a bid for custody of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) given her unhappiness.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor Plays Mind Games

Meanwhile, Victor plays his sneaky agenda close to the vest. Victor is seeking retribution against Jack and Jabot, for endangering Nikki’s sobriety.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) wasn’t born yesterday, and she could realize that Victor has a plan in play to ruin Jack, and blame herself for this dilemma.

Victor isn’t one to back down from a fight and if Nikki warns her husband to back off, that could make him even more determined to see Jack pay.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Kyle is Being Played

Victor’s plan includes installing Kyle at Glissade with the end game being the destruction of Jabot. Haven’t we been down this road before?

In the meantime Nikki feels guilty over her role in Jack’s latest hiccup and they meet up at the GCAC to talk. Jack confides in Nikki and they feel their old, familiar bond—will they feel something else before the night is up?
