The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease there are several comings and goings, although not permanent exits, for the week of July 1, and also a casting call.

There’s a crossover for Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) to The Bold And The Beautiful, Conner Floyd to recurring, Jess Walton pops in and Christopher Cousins stays.

It’s a crossover event while Cricket tours with Danny away from Genoa City and will air on B & B in August,  a must-see event that you won’t want to miss! Word is that Danny will be holding a concert in Los Angeles and the gang from Forrester Creations as well as Spencer Publications will attend.

This won’t be the first crossover appearances between the two sister soaps. Over the years, many characters have made appearances between the two shows-Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was originally a B & B character.

Connor Floyd’s name has been removed from the show’s closing credits as a contract player after taking over from Donny Boaz whose contract wasn’t renewed in 2021.

It seems that the actor, known for playing Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV, has been moved to recurring status on the soap opera. The FBI agent turned top cop turned businessman has been getting less and less scenes in the past few months.

Chance will be there, he just won’t be on as often and may not be involved in as compelling of storylines. One of his last scenes as a cop, he helped rescue Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) from Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).

Jess Walton makes a comeback as Jill Abbott on Monday, July 1st after travelling to London to receive medical care under the supervision of Dr. Snapper Foster (formerly David Hasslehoff). She is set to have an intense video call with Jason Thompson’s Billy Abbott, Jill’s son with the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).

Christopher Cousins will be featured more as Alan Laurent on Monday, July 1st. He will have a touching interaction with Beth Maitland’s Traci Abbott.

Also, Y&R is in search of an actress to take on the role of Dr. Bauer, a female character in her mid-40s to 50s, who will portray an intelligent medical professional. The character is known for her serious approach to her job and her ability to show empathy towards her patients and their families.
