The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 1 tease that distraught parents Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seek mutual comfort in a hotel room in Baltimore.
Exactly as snarky Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) predicted to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that this would happen!
Adam and Chelsea are heartbroken over their son’s destructive behavior and disintegrating mental state. This results in a stolen kiss that could blow up into a full-fledged hookup during the week of July 1-5.

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sees Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at the GCAC. She can tell that something is wrong so Nikki questions him.
Jack spills his woes and Nikki encourages him to get it all out. These two have been through the wars together and Nikki thinks she owes Jack for OD’ing and saving her life. It’s complicated.
Nikki tells him that he can depend on her, even through she is in unstable emotional territory herself. She is still finding her way after a stint in rehab, but she wants to support Jack just as he has always supported her. And this is exactly what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is afraid of.
Will Nikki’s Good Samaritan act turn out to be the beginning of another downfall for these two?
Jack tells Nikki about Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) drama and the ordeal involving his wife Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and their son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Long story short, Kyle has been fired from the family company, Jabot, and Jack is right to fear what his hotheaded son will do next.
Since there’s no love lost between Nikki and Diane, Nikki could blame Diane for the corporate mess and influence Jack to do the same. One thing is clear, and that is that Diane firing Kyle gives Jack more reason to commiserate with Nikki.
Will Diane lose her son and her husband, too?!
Nikki could discover what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is up to, that he has Kyle and Audra co-running Glissade together. She’ll put two and two together and realize that he is building a plot against Jabot. Nikki will have to take sides, which man do you assume she will side with?
