It looks like the morning after the first presidential debate for both candidates has looked very different.
That’s because there’s a new report that says Donald Trump now holds a 40 point lead over the current president, Joe Biden, in their race for the White House this year.
It looks like Donald Trump is inching closer and closer to victory in this year’s presidential election, according to Sports Handles’ election odds tracker. And let’s just say that things are looking very good for Trump.
In fact, the site now gives the former president a record 63 percent chance of victory over the current President Joe Biden.
Here are just a few stats:
As of yesterday morning, Donald Trump had a 59.6% chance to win the election this year. This morning, following the debate, he sits at 63.6%, a new record for any candidate since we began tracking.
Trump’s 4% jump is larger than any single increase he has seen in any full week since we began tracking.
Following the debate, Joe Biden’s odds of winning in the fall fell over 14%, from 37.7% to just 23.2%.
This is the single biggest drop in odds for any candidate we’ve seen between updates, most of which have taken place a week apart.
Biden saw that drop in just one night. His current odds are his lowest since we began regularly tracking odds in May of 2023.
While it remains unlikely, there have been conversations online about the possibility of Biden dropping out of the race and the Democrats turning to a new candidate. Odds makers have taken note of this idea as well.
Following the debate, Vice President Kamala Harris’s odds of becoming the next president doubled from 2.25% to 4.5%.
More notably, California governor Gavin Newsome’s odds rose significantly from 4.5% to 13.9%.
Interestingly enough, those are the best odds any candidate other than Biden or Trump have had since primary campaigns began last year.
So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter but there’s no doubt that he’s going to continue to work hard to clinch victory in the coming months ahead.

Lol, what a joke. Sports Tracker? That's some MAGA Vegas odds maker, no doubt. Every CREDIBLE poll where VOTERS were actually ASKED after the debate, shows Biden actually *ahead* of the orange gasbag. One bad debate night does not an election loss make.
Cry some more.,
