General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, June 28 tease discussing ideas, custody questions and furious feedback! Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) discusses an idea, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) has custody questions and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gives furious feedback!
Brook Lynn brings up Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) suggestion to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), curious about his thoughts on the matter.
Tracy had previously mentioned the possibility of extending Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) custody with them for a longer period of time, with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in rehab for ninety days.
The concern arises about what would happen if Finn is unable to care for his daughter after the ninety days.
Although Chase appears uneasy with the proposal, he understands Tracy’s perspective. Together, he and Brook Lynn will deliberate on this significant decision, contemplating the potential shift of Violet’s guardianship from Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to themselves.
Brook Lynn and Chase are not the only ones discussing child custody at the moment. Blaze is probing Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), clearly taken aback by what she’s hearing.
The question arises whether Kristina would consider seeking custody of TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) child from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
Kristina, heavily pregnant as a surrogate for her sister, nears the end of her pregnancy; the recent squabble between TJ and Molly has raised concerns about the baby’s future.
Kristina even sought advice from her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) despite being reluctant to get involved, not wanting to be in the middle between her daughters.
Elsewhere, a frantic and furious Ava Jerome (Maura West) vents to her ex-mother-in-law Laura Collins (Genie Francis) regarding Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) threats to take custody.
Ava has hired Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) for legal assistance, but she insists to Laura that she cannot let it happen! Ava is looking for support from Laura to help her retain custody of her and Sonny’s daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Maybe she believes that Laura, who recently adopted Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) with her spouse Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), could offer some guidance.
Alternatively, she may have information on Sonny that Laura could use to push for legal action, especially since she knows that Laura’s judgment of Sonny is no longer clouded!
In the meantime, Sonny and Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva La Rue) are growing closer. They are enjoying drinks together as Sonny makes a toast to finding their friends.
Sonny and Natalia are quickly progressing from being just friends to having a deeper connection. Apart from their daughters being partners, they have discovered shared Puerto Rican roots, a common talent for cooking, and a mutual love for spending time together.
Is it possible that they have found their perfect match; it might be wise for Natalia to take a step back and conduct some further investigation!
Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attempts to halt the FBI’s blackmail of Jason have reached his ears, and they’re engaged in a heated argument in Carly’s kitchen, with “Moss Boss” as witness!
Over the decorative bowl of moss, Jason yells that all the sacrifices he made to protect her hold no value! Undoubtedly, he has discovered that she approached ex Pikeman boss Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), seeking answers she shouldn’t have.
Even worse, she has even played spy games with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington)! Carly has dismantled everything Jason has worked for, and it’s evident that she has only exacerbated the situation, or else it wouldn’t have reached him!
