Say it isn’t so! While there’s no doubt that the fictional town of Port Charles sure does see it’s fair share of drama, the other side of the camera sees nothing but love.
In fact, General Hospital child star Jophielle Love couldn’t help but express just how sad she was at seeing her on-screen father Michael Easton leave the show!
In fact, the young girl’s parents shared a teary-eyed photo of the two of them behind the scenes. It was captioned with, “Saying Good Bye to my dad on General Hospital today was the hardest scene I have had to do so far.”
“Violet will be waiting for her parents to return someday! I will miss you Michael.”
Many of her fans commented on the pic with, “You two have such great father and daughter chemistry.. and are both so talented. This story is heartbreaking.”
“You did an amazing job today pulled off all those emotions so beautifully and realistically voilet you brought me to me knees.”
Another fan wrote, “The tears in your eyes, aww you broke my heart. You and Michael deserve Emmy performances for that scene. I know you will miss him so much and I have a feeling that he feels the same way. Outstanding performance.”
And then there was this comment as well: “You two knocked it out of the park with the bases loaded. Today was heartbreaking with gritty entertainment.”
Earlier this week, Michael Easton announced he was leaving General Hospital.
Michael took to his Instagram account to share the news with his fans. He said, “I’ve always been partial to the Irish good-bye.”
“That’s where you leave the party without actually telling anyone you’re gone. But I thought you all deserved better. So I just want to let you know that I just filmed my final scenes here at General Hospital.”

BIG mistake! The writers were doing so well with all the new twists and turns, but they squarely missed it with the elimination of Finn. There were so many great storylines that could have been explored with this story. Just disappointing.
