The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Kyle Making The Right Decision With Victor?

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Michael Mealor, who plays Kyle Abbott on the hit CBS soap, explains that his character doesn’t have many options now that his mother Diane has him from Jabot.

For Kyle, it was certainly the last straw for his mom. Michael puts it this way to the publication, “Kyle just kept making the wrong moves and pushing through things without her consent and she’s above him as far as the hierarchy goes.”

“She would have given him a spanking, but he’s a little too old, so she decided to fire him.”

And while Kyle was hoping that his dad Jack would give him his old job back, that didn’t happen. So now it looks like he has to rely on Victor Newman to get his foot back in the door.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle agrees to meet with Victor to talk about running Glissage with Audra.

Michael previews, “It’s a also a cosmetics company, so it’s something that he feels comfortable with and can succeed in.”

“This is his chance to really make a name for himself outside of Jabot. I think the cosmetics industry will always know Kyle as an Abbott.”

“It’s not known that Victor is an investor but Glissad is a fully funded company and Kyle gets to build it from the ground up in a way that he sees fit.”

“This can really show his drive, his ability, his creativity, all away from the legacy of Jabot so that’s becoming more and more attractive to Kyle.”

Y&R spoilers also say that Kyle is going to let Victor know that he’s still wanted. Michael says, “He wants Victor to think that he’s getting something that is of value still.”
