General Hospital Spoilers: Jonathan Jackson Is Returning As Lucky!

According to Deadline, it has been reported that actor Jonathan Jackson will be returning to his soap opera roots to reprise his role as Lucky on the hit ABC soap. How exciting!

As many soap fans can recall, Jonathan was only 11 when he first starred in his role as Lucky back in 1993.

This comes as the producers also announced that actor Bryan Craig is returning to reprise his role as Morgan Corinthos as well.

It  goes without saying that many General Hospital fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “Now bring back Julie Berman as Lulu!! & bring Luke back from the dead!”

Another fan wrote, “MY FAVORITE MALE SOAP CHARACTER HAS RETURNED.”

Jonathan currently lives in Ireland full-time with his wife Lisa and their family. Back in 2021, he was asked by Soap Opera Digest whether or not he would consider returning to General Hospital. At the time, he was unsure because of the ongoing pandemic.

He said, “Logistically, it certainly becomes more difficult to figure out [coming back to GH], not only living in Ireland but on top of that, with the travel restrictions and those complications, it makes it very difficult.”

“But it is a strange thing that Lucky left to [go to] Ireland [upon his 2011 departure] and that I’ve ended up living here! I don’t know if maybe that means something, but maybe it’s this whole Method acting thing. I’m getting into character. I come back and say, ‘Yes, I’ve just come from Ireland!”

General Hospital has not announced Jonathan’s airdate as lucky just yet but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details once they come in. Watch this space.
