Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Camila Banus Upset Over New Gabi Replacement?

As many Days of Our Lives fans can recall, Camila played Gabi Hernandez DiMera until she left the role earlier last year.

And now that it’s been confirmed that Gabi is coming back thanks to newcomer Cherie Jiminez, a lot of people can’t help but wonder what the original Gabi has to think about this.

After all, Camilla Banus was very protective of her character. But it looks like her Days of Our Lives and even daytime television career might be over.

That’s because Camila has been spending more time with her loved ones in Tampa and doesn’t seem to have any new projects in the pipeline.

The actress still posts on social media and interreacts with her fans, but when they ask her about her future acting plans, she hasn’t replied.

Some have even commented on her social media pages with, “Wish you were back on Days, not sure about the new Gabby.”

Another fan wrote, “Girl you are on fire! Have you moved to Tampa? Come back to Days! You are so missed. New girl can’t hold a candle to you. Had no fire!”

And then there was this comment as well: “Miss you on Days! This new girl doesn’t hold a flame to you!”

Of course, Camilla herself has not made any comments about the matter but at this point it’s doubtful that she will.

She’s made it pretty clear that she’s moving on with her life, regardless of what happens to Camilla back in Salem.

Either way, there’s no doubt that a lot of Days of Our Lives fans are willing to give Cherie Jiminez a try as they are looking forward to seeing her on the small screen.

Of course, fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the Peacock streaming network.
