The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 21 reveal that the show puts the spotlight on Joshua Morrow as it celebrates his 30th anniversary playing Nick Newman.
As such, the prominent people in his life are featured, including his ex-wife Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Their daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) also returns home on Friday and will be part of the 30th anniversary tribute episode.
Faith’s return results in Sharon and Nick taking a walk down memory lane and it’s sure to be a thrilling ride for Schick fans.
Fans will see plenty of flashbacks to young Nick, and it’s hard to digest that it’s been three decades since Morrow first flashed those cavernous dimples of his onscreen!
Morrow debuted as a SORAS’d teenager who came home from boarding school, just as his sister Victoria Newman’s two kids came home from boarding school in the Wednesday, June 19 episode.
Morrow was an instant fan fave and starred in numerous hot and heavy plots through the years. These include red hot romances with Sharon and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), his two baby mamas.
He also showcased his acting chops in the poignant storyline in which young Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) died.
Camryn Grimes later returned to the show as Cassie’s twin, Mariah Copeland. Mariah and her wife Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are on hand to help Nick and Sharon reminiscence as the family gathers in Sharon’s comfy cottage where many a scandal, as well as romance, has taken place.

The heartfelt episode will have fans rooting for a Shick reunion and it’s hard to deny the chemistry that the two actors bring to their roles as star-crossed lovers.
