When it comes to actress The Young and the Restless star Sharon Case, everyone wants to know what’s going on with her, both on screen and off. After all, she is a fan favorite among daytime television fans.
Well, it seems like Sharon has had quite the eventful year, especially with all the speculation about her on-screen character, Sharon Newman, and what’s in store for her.

Back in April, Sharon admitted that she’s nothing like her on-screen character, Sharon Newman.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Sharon was asked who made the better cup of coffee. She answered with, “Well, Sharon’s never actually made a cup of coffee because the prop department makes it for her on the stage. I have to say I make a really good cup of coffee. People really like my coffee.”
That same month, fans were expressing their concern for Sharon. It’s been a very long time since she’s been on the canvas or has had her own storyline and of course, fans wanted to know why.
Fans have long cheered on for her character, Sharon Newman, with the hopes that she would finally find the love of her life.
And while she’s had good but also interesting relationships with the likes of Nick Newman, Adam Newman and her deceased husband Rey Rosales, she’s always been very unlucky in love.
In December, some fans even assumed that she was being pushed out of the show. It seems like she hasn’t had a storyline or any significant screen presence ever since Cameron Kirsten had died. Fans have seen very little of her since then.
This has prompted a lot of viewers to wonder: what gives?
So far Sharon Case herself has not made any comments about the matter.
