General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, June 17 tease faux anxiety, confrontations and someone lashes out!
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) displays faux anxiety, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) confronts Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) lashes out!
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) looks gloomy while at work, but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) steps in to try and brighten her day.
Portia hints that she might have something up her sleeve to bring a smile to Elizabeth’s face, although it won’t be easy to cheer her up. Liz did her best to support Hamilton Finn, but he wrongly blamed her and distanced himself.
She continues to fret about her niece, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), with no one seeming able to reach her father. Elizabeth as well as Finn’s family are all worried about Violet.
The party in Port Charles seems to be the talk of the town, with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) joining in on the fun. He eagerly expresses his hope of becoming neighbors with someone, as he explores more of what Port Charles has to offer.
Living in the Quartermaine mansion, it makes you wonder who Gio is conversing with. Could it be about the gatehouse, the apartment above the garage, or maybe even the apartment in the stables?
Elsewhere, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) act like two old friends just “joshing” around, as Chase gives Cody some food for thought
Chase tells Cody he wouldn’t trade it for the world, leaving him deep in thought. Is Chase referring to the irreplaceable value of marriage?
This conversation seems to have sparked a newfound seriousness in Cody’s relationship with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Could a proposal be on the horizon? The question lingers: will Sasha accept with a joyful yes or decline with a heartbreaking no?
At another corner of the party, Michael finds himself feeling a bit anxious as he playfully questions Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about the trouble he might be in.
Although he’s aware of his own actions that could potentially cause problems, Willow simply responds with a smile and laughs.
Looking around, it seems like everyone is thoroughly enjoying themselves at this event. Perhaps it’s the celebration of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) transformation into a Quartermaine, and this gathering serves as his official announcement party for his candidacy in Congressman Larry McConkey’s (Sam McMurray) seat.
Meanwhile, Carly is filled with suspicion as she confronts Drew about his actions for “that woman”. By “that woman”, Carly is referring to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who played a role in setting up Drew’s meeting with the congressman. Interestingly, Congressman McConkey was an old friend of Nina’s father, and she knows him from before her coma.
Carly has definitely taken issue with Drew and is now just as fiercely protective of him as she is of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). It seems the rivalry between Carly and Nina has reignited after a short lull!
While Nina catches up with her ex fake daughter, she seizes the opportunity to share the latest news with Sasha. Excitedly, Nina tells Sasha that she considers everything as a triumphant victory, clearly referring to Drew’s political campaign reveal.
It’s worth noting that Nina was the one who initiated this entire event by introducing Drew and McConkey to each other. Observing Sasha’s joyful expression, it’s evident that she genuinely supports her ex fake birth mother!
With the intention of being both a sponsor and a friend, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) headed over to Finn’s apartment. She genuinely wanted to help him find constructive ways to cope with his loss. However, Finn’s response was far from what she expected.
He unleashed his anger, yelling at her that he had the sole right to handle his loss in his own unique way. Despite the verbal attack, Alexis remained composed and patient, allowing Finn to release his emotions and hopefully find solace in her presence.
