Even though there was heavy speculation suggesting Michelle Obama was going to throw her name in the hat as a potential candidate for this year’s election, she’s changed her mind.

She announced that she was not running for office and that she preferred to keep her life out of the spotlight. That, and she also didn’t want to step on Joe Biden’s toes by taking his job away from him.

However, Michelle’s husband thinks that something has to be done. At an event with Hollywood stars like George Clooney and Julia Roberts this past week, Obama realized that the situation is quite dire.

At one point, Joe Biden appeared to have looked frozen on stage which prompted Obama to help take him to the back.

Plus, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Michelle would get the kind of backing that would help her beat Donald Trump easily.

She’s got a huge fan base as it is and a lot of people would do anything to support her as the next president of the United States.
